Shipping Administrator - Cold Chain/Dispatch

Te Tūranga /About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Shipping Administrator to join our team at Silver Fern Farms Finegand. In this role, you’ll play a key part in coordinating shipping activities, ensuring export documentation is accurate and completed on time, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to keep everything moving smoothly.

Te Mahi /Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate shipping contracts with in-store inventory and ensure timely container supply and transport to port.
• Generate accurate electronic export documentation in line with MPI requirements, including certificates and supporting materials.
• Liaise with shipping companies, MPI representatives, and internal teams to meet loading schedules and compliance standards.
• Plan and monitor container loading against inventory records, ensuring shipping instructions and deadlines are met.
• Maintain records and provide general administrative support to the Cold Chain/Dispatch team.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re organised, proactive, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or administration (export knowledge is an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with documentation and data.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and systems, with a willingness to learn new tools.
• A problem-solving mindset and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
