Plumber

Te Tūranga /About the role:

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Plumber to join our maintenance team at Silver Fern Farms Finegand, one of New Zealand’s leading beef and lamb processing sites. In this role, you’ll provide plumbing and drainage services across the site, supporting production, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. If you’re hands-on, solutions-focused, and passionate about quality work, this is the role for you.

Te Mahi /Key Responsibilities:

• Keep things flowing - maintain and repair plumbing, drainage, and sheet metal systems across the site. 
• Build and improve - assist with new installations, upgrades, and hygiene equipment fabrication. 
• Champion safety - lead by example and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. 
• Collaborate and contribute - work with a skilled team to deliver projects and continuous improvements.

Ōu Pūkenga / About You

You’ll bring:

• A current Plumbing and Gasfitting/Drainage Registration and Craftsman’s Licence.
• Proven experience in plumbing, drainage
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A commitment to health, safety, and compliance standards.
• Great communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
