The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our team as an Internal Sales / Office Administrator. This is a dynamic role that sits at the heart of our operations, providing crucial support to both our sales efforts and general office functions. Key Responsibilities:
Client Assistance:
- Greeting and assisting walk-in clients, understanding their needs, and providing product information.
- Answering incoming phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries, and directing calls as appropriate.
- Assisting clients with product selection and initial quoting.
- Scheduling appointments for sales consultations and installations.
Sales Support:
- Preparing and following up on quotes and orders.
- Maintaining customer relationship management (CRM) records.
- Collaborating with the sales team to ensure smooth transitions from inquiry to sale.
General Administration:
- Managing office correspondence and filing systems (both physical and digital).
- Processing invoices and assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Maintaining office supplies and ensuring the office runs smoothly.
- Assisting with marketing activities and social media updates as required.
- General data entry and administrative tasks to support the wider team.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role is highly desirable. Experience in sales support or the building industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Customer Focus: A genuine desire to help customers and provide an outstanding experience.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with V6 or Monday.com is a plus.
- Attitude: Proactive, self-motivated, reliable, and a team player with a positive approach.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the local Milton and South Otago area is a plus.
