Compliance Manager
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain health & safety systems.
Oversee the Food Control Plan, ensuring compliance with FSSI and external standards
Engage and train staff, merchandisers, and contractors in safety and food safety practices
Maintain accurate safety and food safety records
Provide timely information and training materials to department managers and store owners
Promote a strong safety culture and positive work environment
Adhere to store policies and contribute to team wellbeing
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
Extensive health & safety experience and training
Food Safety Programme experience and training
Strong computer skills (spreadsheets, reporting)
Desired/Preferred
First Aid Certificate
Strong time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
High level of initiative and commitment
Key Competencies
Effective communication with staff and customers
Relationship building and teamwork
Decisive and sound decision-making

This role is a full-time position and reports directly to the Owner/Operator.
