Part-Time Cook
Location:  Sandy's Kaka Point
Hours: Part-time (evenings/weekends as required)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated part-time cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll help prepare and cook a variety of meals for both dine-in and takeaway customers, ensuring quality, consistency, and great presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and plate meals to a high standard
• Cook and package takeaway orders efficiently
• Assist with food preparation (chopping, marinating, portioning, etc.)
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace
• Wash dishes and keep kitchen equipment clean and tidy
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Work cooperatively with the rest of the kitchen and front-of-house team

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred, but training provided
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
• Flexible availability, including weekends or evenings
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
