We are the Clutha District Council and we're looking for outstanding talent to join our Corporate Services Team

 

Our full-time and permanent Finance Support Officer is responsible for the provision of backup and support across the Finance and Customer Services team and a wide variety of other financial, administrative and customer services duties.

 

Relevant experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.

 

Do you have or are you prepared to learn?

 

  • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts
  • Experience and understanding of payroll, debtors and creditors systems
  • Adept, agile and progressive in all IT areas, especially Excel
  • High numeracy and literacy skills
  • A flexible team player
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and great communication
  • A current driver's license
