Fabrication Apprentice

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Fabrication Apprentice to join our team at South Otago Windows & Doors in Milton, Otago. This full-time role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and qualifications in the building trades industry.

What you'll be doing

• Fabricating and assembling window and door frames to precise specifications

• Operating machinery and tools to cut, shape, and finish materials

• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

• Assisting experienced fabricators with complex projects

• Learning and applying industry-standard techniques and practices

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

• Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A keen interest in the building trades industry and a willingness to learn

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
