The Explore New Zealand Discount Programme is our exclusive travel industry benefit designed just for you. Enjoy generous discounts from Qualmark accredited tourism businesses for you and a travel companion, travel at your preferred time (with close-out periods from December to February), and experience the regions and operators that create unforgettable journeys.

Who can apply for Explore?

You must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the discount programme:

Be a full time travel seller (travel advisor, wholesaler, product manager)
Complete at least ten 100% Pure New Zealand Specialist online learning modules
Be a member of the Closed Facebook Group for your relevant market: Australia, North America, UK & Europe or South East Asia
Signed up to receive Tourism New Zealand's Travel Trade newsletters

How do I apply for Explore?

Simply fill out the application form available at the bottom of this page.

Tourism New Zealand will review your application within ten (10) working days. If approved, you will receive a link to view the Explore Programme discounts and instructions on how to book. Please note, Explore applications must not be within 30 days of travelling to New Zealand.

Close-out periods apply for travel between December and February. Travel sellers are encouraged to travel between March and November.

What type of discount can I expect from operators?

Discounts offered by Qualmark tourism businesses are typically free of charge, or between 30% - 50% off. Discounts are usually extended to your travel companion.
