Volunteer with the Toko Community Op Shop
If you’ve got a few hours to spare each week and enjoy working in a friendly, community-focused environment, the Toko Community Op Shop would love your help!
What you could be doing:
-
Sorting and pricing donated items
-
Cleaning and tidying the shop
-
Creating eye-catching displays
-
Assisting customers
Training and Opportunities:
Volunteers who help regularly (at least once a week) have the opportunity to complete a Retail Savvy Course – a nationally recognised programme worth 5 unit standard credits, which can be completed in about 6 months. Till training will also be provided along the way.
Whether you’re looking to learn new skills, build your confidence, or just enjoy giving back, this is a great way to get involved.
How to get started:
Pop in and see Sue at the Toko Community Op Shop, across the road from the Pharmacy, or email admin@southernopshop.co.nz
