The Catlins Historical Society

Volunteers are wanted for a few hours a month to help staff the Owaka Museum and Catlins Information Centre at the weekends.

The Museum relies heavily on visitors to the district for its funding. It is open 7 days per week, but we need your help to ensure it stays open to the public at weekends.

Full training given
Time commitment 3-6 hours per month

If you have a passion for the heritage and attractions of the Catlins Area- this will suit you!

Volunteers work alongside a Council Information Officer and an experienced volunteer. They do not work alone
