Operation Cover Up

Operation Cover Up welcomes volunteers aged 13 and over to knit or crochet blankets and garments for communities in Eastern European countries.

The group is happy to teach knitting and crochet techniques to anyone interested in learning. With winter temperatures reaching as low as minus 25 degrees Celsius, all items must be made from 100% wool.

Members of the group are eligible to purchase wool at a discounted price.

While weekly attendance on Saturdays is not required, volunteers are encouraged to attend at least once a month.
