The Lost Gypsy

The Lost Gypsy Curios and Coffee is a hidden treasure in the heart of The Catlins, located in the small village of Papatowai.

New Zealand artist Blair Somerville created the gallery and theatre experience from the ground up.

It is filled with imagination, humour and creativity! The coffee and homemade tasty Thai treats cannot be missed.

Hours of Operation

Summer - 10am to 5pm (closed on Wednesdays).

Winter - Closed from late April until late October.
