Chrystalls Beach to Bull Creek is a lovely easy walk with beautiful beaches. This almost forgotten coastline is a real hidden gem in the Milton area. It is also a great place to swim or you could climb Cook Rock.
You can turn on to Chrystalls Beach road and saunter across the sand on this easy to moderate 2 hours return stroll. After an hour or so you will reach Bull Creek where you often see seals (Kekeno) and sea lions (Pakeke).
Both these stunning stretches of sand are off the Forgotten Coastal Highway as are Toko Mouth and Wangaloa heading south towards Kai (Kaitangata). If deserted beaches are your thing then you are definitely in luck!
