The Punt at Tuapeka Mouth is the only one its kind in New Zealand! The ferry is located between the towns of Balclutha and Lawrence.

It operates by the strong flow of the mighty Clutha River, you can even take your campervan across.

This popular free public punt runs daily between 10am - 2pm dependent on the river level.

Tuapeka Mouth was an inland port for paddle steamer boats up until 1939. It remains to be vital for local farmers in the area.
