Nestled into the northern coast of The Catlins is the picture-perfect Jack’s Bay. Home to many holiday houses, it is an easy wildlife spotting opportunity where hoiho (yellow eyed penguins) regularly wander along the sand from their reserve at Long Point. A great spot for beachgoers with its sandy beach, dramatic coastal cliffs, and clear Southern waters, ideal for taking a dip.
