Trade Waste Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Trade Waste Technician to join our Three Waters team.

Role Overview:

As a Trade Waste Technician, you will ensure Council's regulatory approach to reticulation matters including trade waste consenting and monitoring, inflow and infiltration, and backflow management continues to be applied effectively. You will also monitor compliance with the Council's Water Services Bylaw 2019 on these matters. Additionally, the role involves providing contract support and public education on water use and conservation.

 

Key Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience in reticulation operations and maintenance in relevant areas such as water services and liquid trade waste
• Proven commitment to high-quality customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in community interactions.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office and other electronic systems
• The ability to understand, write and explain technical information
• Knowledge of water and waste related distribution systems
• Current Full driver's license
