Qualified Maintenance Engineer

A position has become available in our South Otago based team for a motivated & skilled individual.

 

The position is varied and includes structural, fabrication, repair & maintenance tasks, including a well compensated for on-call roster.

 

Your duties will include:

- maintaining, installing, and supporting operations and operational equipment

- planned and execute reactive and preventative maintenance works

- maintaining a very high standard of Health & Safety standards

- working with the Maintenance Supervisor, to minimise plant downtime

- replace &/or repair damaged or defective components

- attending to and addressing breakdowns

- plant upgrades and project work

- rostered on-call service

 

Depending on experience, there is a very attractive remuneration package for the right person!

 

 

What we need from you:

- a full New Zealand driver licence

- fluent English speaking, writing and reading

- team player with proven work ethic and positive attitude

- ability to identify and report hazards to promote our safety culture

- a trade qualification in general engineers or maintenance and diagnostics

- aptitude to work independently as well as part of the team

- high attention to detail
