Family Relationship Counsellor - 1 day per week (12 months, Fixed Term)

We are seeking expressions of interest from a suitably qualified and experienced Counsellor/Clinical Psychologist to provide a whanau/family relationship counselling to the residents of South Otago.

This is a pilot scheme and is anticipated to equate to approximately 3-4 families/couples per week starting 1 July 2024 and completing 30 June 2025.

Although the scope may broaden, initial outcomes of this pilot will be provision of mental and emotional support for developing and strengthening healthy whanau/family relationships including:

• Building stronger, positive relationships.
• Assistance with communication strategies.
• Assistance with conflict management.
• Managing grief and change.

Consultations will be accommodated in the hospitals private and standalone Chapel.

• Remuneration $140/hr plus GST claimable by monthly invoicing.
