Casual Early Childhood Reliever - Unqualified

We are a Christian Childcare Centre located in Balclutha who provide exceptional care and education to our families in our community.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable candidates to join our casual relievers' pool. We would be interested in hearing from applicants who have had experience with working with young children. 

To support our friendly, professional team during staff absences we are seeking capable individuals who possess a kind and nurturing approach towards children, good communication and team working skills and the ability to be flexible and responsive. 

We have a strong Christian-based philosophy and are committed to providing quality care and education for children and their families.  

As not all staff absences are planned, a willingness to receive offers of work at short notice is desirable.

To be successful in your application you will need:

·         To be available as an on call reliever to work as required on any day Monday to Friday at any time between   the  hours of 7:00 – 5:30 (depending on the shift you are covering)

·         To have experience working with children and being flexible to work across all our classroom age brackets, 3   months to 6 year olds.

·         Work well in a team environment

·         To be proactive and have initiative within the classroom to support the teachers in providing quality care and   education for our precious children

·         To participate and support the children during our Biblical mat times and activities

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Please note, this is an unqualified teaching position and we are not looking for Registered Teachers at this point.
