Parts and Accessories Sales Person

Ewan Allan Honda and Stihl Shop Balclutha are looking for a motivated Parts Assistant to join our busy motorcycle dealership, and workshop team. This role is ideal for someone with a positive attitude, good communication skills, great organisational skills, experience in parts or retail, and passion for motorcycles ( preferred but not necessary),  and willing to learn. Full training will be given. Sales of new and used items when required. 

About the role:

As a Parts Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting customers and a workshop technicians with motorcycle parts, accessories, and merchandise. You will need good computer skills. Training will be given.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with parts and accessory enquiries in-store, by phone, and email
• Identify and order motorcycle parts using our online parts systems
• Process sales transactions and customer orders
• Receive and check incoming inventory
• Assist with stock counts
• Ensure the parts department is clean, organized, and well -presented
• Sales of new and used items when required

Skills & Experience 

• Previous experience and knowledge in motorcycle or automotive parts preferred but not necessary.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good computer and inventory management skills
