12-Month Fixed-Term (Parental Leave Cover)

Clutha Development is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Lead to join our team for a 12-month parental leave cover position.

This is an opportunity to work on projects that make a real difference to our district, supporting local businesses, strengthening workforce pathways, and helping create opportunities for people to live, work and thrive in Clutha.

No two days are the same. One day you might be working alongside businesses to address workforce challenges, the next you're connecting schools with employers, or helping deliver projects that contribute to the district's long-term prosperity and wellbeing.

About the role

You will work closely with businesses, education providers, and local stakeholders to coordinate and deliver projects that respond to local needs and opportunities.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, bringing people together, and turning ideas into action.

About you

You will bring:

• Experience delivering projects or initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating across a diverse range of organisations.
• Strong organisational skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• The confidence to adapt as priorities evolve and new opportunities emerge.
