Donor Relations Coordinator

The Clutha Foundation is a local philanthropic organisation building a significant capital fund to earn income to support charitable purposes in the Clutha District in perpetuity. 

We are seeking expressions of interest in a Donor Relations Coordinator.

This position will suit a community minded person who:
▪ Is energised by meeting and talking with people
▪ Finds satisfaction in building long-term relationships
▪ Is proud of the Clutha District and wants to contribute to its future
▪ Likes variety – no two days are the same
▪ Is comfortable with autonomy and trusts their own judgement

As part of this role you will:
▪ Engage on a day-to-day basis with prospective donors
▪ Meet regularly with community groups, existing donors, and district fund
promoters
▪ Effectively using social media and the website to promote the Foundation
▪ Assist with promotional campaigns
▪ Liaise with employers, employees, service clubs, and community groups
▪ Understand the needs, concerns, and sentiments of the community
▪ Liaise with secondary schools to promote Scholarship opportunities
You will be part of a small team that works closely together, out of Te Pou O
Mata-Au (TPOMA) with regular travel across the Clutha District.
