Truck Driver / Machine Operator

Class 5 Required | Heavy Machinery Experience Essential

Kelso Kontracting is looking for an experienced Truck Driver / Machine Operator to join our team.

This role involves

• Operating a variety a of heavy machinery and equipment
• Truck driving
• Tractor Driving
• Been part of the silage crew during the season.

About the Role

You will be responsible for: Driving and Operating heavy machinery including Truck Driving Operating / Driving Fendt Tractors Loaders Rollers Stump Grinders Rock Crushers

Working alongside our contracting and civil teams Assisting with other work when required

This role requires someone who is adaptable, practical, and willing to get involved where needed.

We are looking for someone who will treat our machines and trucks as if it were their own — taking pride in its presentation, upkeep, and safe operation. Respect for machinery and attention to detail is very important to us.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience operating heavy machinery Experience driving trucks
Mechanically minded and confident around machinery Able to work independently and as part of a team Flexible attitude and willing to assist with other tasks when required

A current Class 4 or 5 license is essential

Knowledge and understanding of variety machinery would be highly beneficial.

Travel Requirements

On occasions, you may be required to stay away overnight depending on job locations and workloads. We will give as much notice as possible for this.
