Quality Assessor

Te Tūranga / About the Role

As a Quality Assessor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our quality systems across the site. You’ll ensure inspections, processes, and documentation consistently meet customer, regulatory, and company standards.

Your work will directly influence our ability to deliver high‑quality products and uphold the integrity and reputation of Silver Fern Farms. You’ll also champion our compliance initiatives and support continuous improvement across processing teams.

Shift Patten: Shift pattern is rotating day and nightshift between hours of 5.30am and 1.30am – 8-hour shifts.

We presently have two positions available.

Please be aware that due to the nature of this position, while secure and permanent, it has a seasonal shutdown period annually for around 6-8 weeks.

We’re looking for someone who brings both experience and the right attitude, including:

• Experience in Quality Assurance/Control or Process Control
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Great organisation, planning capability, and a positive approach
• The ability to balance the needs of both Quality and Production with diplomacy
• Confident computer skills across Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
