Community Services Group Manager

As our Community Services Group Manager, you’ll report directly to the Chief Executive and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering services that enrich the lives of our community.

In this role, you will:

·     Oversee the Community Libraries, i-Site, Community Housing and Facilities, Aquatic Services, Community Development and Planning, Freedom Camping, and Economic Development.

·      Build and sustain the strong relationships that underpin effective community services.

·      Be a member of the senior leadership team who provide strategic leadership, champion Council’s vision, uphold statutory responsibilities, contribute to organisation-wide outcomes, and model a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Do you have:

·     Leadership experience at a third-tier level including leading staff?

·     At least 10 years relevant experience?

·     Experience in organisational performance improvement in an activity or departmental level?

·     The ability to create a continuous learning environment and departmental psychological safety?

What we’re looking for:

·     Strong background in community engagement.

·     Excellent relationship development, management and facilitation skills.

·     Proven track record of working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve results.
