Teacher Aide

Teacher Aide – Fixed Term, Full Time
Term 4, 2025 and Term 1, 2026

Waihola District School is seeking a kind, patient and energetic Teacher Aide to join our supportive team. This fixed-term, full-time position is for Term 4, 2025 and Term 1, 2026. 
The role involves working closely with an ORS-funded student in a Year 4–8 classroom, supporting their learning and wellbeing, and helping them to participate fully in class and school life.

We are looking for someone who:

• Builds positive relationships with students and staff. 
• Is flexible, empathetic, and able to work collaboratively. 
• Brings initiative, reliability, and a sense of humour to their work. 
• Ideally has experience supporting students with additional learning needs (though training will be provided for the right person).

Hours of work are during the school day, Monday to Friday, term time only.
