Reticulation Technician

Do you enjoy working outdoors, using practical skills, and knowing the work you do directly benefits your community? We’re looking for a Reticulation Technician to join our team and help keep our water network running smoothly and safely.
The purpose of the role
This is a hands-on, field-based position where no two days are the same. As a Reticulation Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring reliable water services by:
· Completing annual tank and restrictor inspections
· Carrying out urban and rural water meter readings that keep our billing accurate and up to date
· Inspecting and servicing pressure reducing valves (PRVs) to keep our systems safe and efficient
· Always working in an environmentally safe and hygienic manner
What we’re looking for:
We need someone who is practical, reliable, and enjoys solving problems on the go. If you are:
· Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
· Detail-oriented with good record-keeping skills
· A strong communicator who can work independently but is also a team player
· Someone with a full driver licence (essential) and a commitment to safe work practices
Previous experience in water services, utilities, or a trade is a plus—but if you bring the right attitude, we’ll provide the training.
