Timber Machinist

We have a great opportunity for a Timber Machinist to join the team.

What the role involves:

• Setting, operating, and maintaining planers for basic timber dressing and various timber profiles.
• Reading and following specifications to ensure timber is cut and dressed to the correct size, finish, and quality.
• Conducting regular quality checks on finished product.
• Performing basic maintenance and adjustments on machinery.
• Working safely, following all health & safety procedures, and using PPE.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous timber machining experience
• Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a good safety mindset.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy production environment.
• Physical fitness, as the role involves standing, lifting, and handling timber.
