Tokomairiro Waiora Incorporated (TWI) seeks a Whanau Ora Kaimahi/Manager.

TWI is a Kaupapa Maori health service provider, with the objective of improving wellbeing for individuals and whanau through coordinated access to health and social services. It is based in Milton, and serves the Tokomairiro and wider South Otago rohe.

These are the skills/qualities you should have:

  • Understanding of, and ability to work within a tikanga Maori context
  • A good communicator, able to engage with a diverse range of people, develop networks and build collaborative relationships
  • Are innovative and able to identify new opportunities to improve and extend TWI services and outcomes for clients
  •  Able to meet deadlines, particularly with reporting to our funding providers
  •  Able to provide leadership to a small, dedicated team
  •  Are willing to work with the Board to meet strategic priorities

You will have the opportunity to identify areas to extend professional development and undertake further training and qualifications.

The position is for a minimum of 35 hours per week. It is fixed term, dependent on contracts with funding providers (but we have been going for over 11 years).
