We have an excellent opportunity at our Finegand food processing plant in Balclutha, for an energetic person who can provide occupational health services. Reporting to the plant Health & Safety Manager, this position will provide occupational health services, including first line injury management and rehabilitation, and health and safety programmes and services to employees at the Fingand plant. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about providing care and wellbeing services to people at the front line of our industry.

This role will require the Occupational Health Nurse to follow set procedures as agreed under the ACC Partnership Programme. This will include monitoring various aspects of employee health, along with promotion of health and wellness. Prevention in injury and illness and protection from work related and environmental hazards are the main focus. First line injury treatment, injury management and monitoring experience would be desirable.
