We are looking for an experienced laboratory coordinator that can help us establish and manage laboratory ISO 17025 accreditation by carrying out proficiency testing and analysis, quality process improvement and environmental monitoring. You will pro-actively contribute to the successful reliability of onsite testing by coaching others and maintaining standards. You will be involved in all aspects of the laboratory including testing, reporting and follow up of customer enquiries.  

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Coordinator to get involved in a fast pace challenging but rewarding environment with plenty of scope to learn and develop.

You will:

  • Have Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Microbiology
  • Have minimum 5 years of hands on experience in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
  • Maintain ISO 17025 accreditation by following ISO protocols.
  • Order, test and report all proficiency test samples.
  • Perform method validation and verification.
  • Perform calibration of NIR, FT1 and FT2 and other laboratory equipment.
  • Perform laboratory method and process audits.
  • Close NCRs and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement with your positive and pro-active approach


To be successful you will have:

  • Proven Experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time
  • Positive and pro-active approach
  • Previous staff management experience in a similar role, including planning and staff training (advantageous)
  • Previous KTP experience is highly desirable
