Danone - Inventory Coordinator (Super User), Balclutha, South Island

Full Time, Permanent Position – Monday -Friday (with some flexibility required).

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our busy Maintenance team at Balclutha, South Island. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility. This role will serve to maximize space utilization as defined by operating KPls.  Work a long side the maintenance administrator and maintenance planner to ensure spare parts are available and prepared for maintenance technicians to execute tasks efficiently. Flexibility is a key point as work hours maybe differ during maintenance days and winter shut.


  • Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment and initiate reordering when necessary.
  • Support and manage the quality control function within operations that monitor and verify the product is being produced to specification. Use and maintain SAP for tracking spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key suppliers and contractors. Ensure they follow our standards in safety, quality, cost etc.
  • PO creation for spare parts and inventory updates.
  • Forklift duties to organize spare parts in the stock.

Key responsibilities as a Super User:

  • Provide first tier support for end users in their problems relating to the process, tools and master data.
  • Create tickets and communicate with Eagle expert and Level 1 if issues not solved locally
  • Mentors other end users and new comers on day to day daily processes and tools trainings
  • Participate in process and application development projects



  • High school education
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point)
  • High skilled in the designated process area
  • Quick learner and open communication skills


  • Experience managing spare parts, and experience maintaining a stock management system.
  • Experienced as an end user of the process and related tools & continuous improvement mindset
  • Be legally allowed and able to drive forklift and cars.
